The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a cause-driven Regional Director to provide leadership to the Youth Development department.
The Regional Director will oversee multiple programs, planning and administration for the YMCA's after school and camp programs, ensuring program quality, and modeling and maintaining a positive regional culture. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure licensing compliance for assigned sites, and maintain system of records to meet requirements.
- Supervise Site/Center Coordinators/Directors, including hiring, training, scheduling, monitoring, evaluating, providing feedback, leading meetings, and ensuring that required certifications are maintained.
- Visit sites regularly to assess quality, record, and report on progress.
- Lead sites in collecting required data (for example, SAYO surveys, attendance, grades, behavior).
- Provide guidance to counselors and other part-time staff, disseminating best practices and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Develop and foster relationships with administration for current school sites and potential new sites.
- Develop and manage budget, including timely and accurate forecasting and analysis.

- Applicants should have a commitment to the YMCA mission, and experience building relationships with diverse community stakeholders.
- At least two years' experience managing a Youth Development program and staffis required.
- Experience working in underserved communities necessary. Credentials must satisfy VA licensing requirements for site supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as excellent organizational technology abilities are required.
- English/Spanish bilingual oral communication skills are preferred
Salary: $39,000.00
