The Midlothian Family YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Richmond, is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic leader to serve as Sr. Aquatics Director, creating, implementing and supervising our aquatics activities and programs.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • To develop, implement, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate aquatics activities & programs in multiple pools or branches. 
Educational Background: 
High school degree or its equivalent with a bachelor's degree preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory, programmatic and budgeting experience in aquatics and pool management is required.
  • Project management, time management and multi-tasking skills necessary.
  • Previous Y work experience is desirable. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer skills with Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Must have current YMCA, Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, 02, and swim lesson instructor certifications.
  • Trainer-level, CPO and water fitness certifications desired. Some evening and weekend work is required, in order to oversee programs.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00
