The YMCA of Greater Richmond Association, part of the YMCA Training Partner Program, is seeking a dynamic Regional Training Director.
The Regional Training Director position requires excellent partnering skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with YMCA leaders within our training area and serve as the point of contact for Y trainers. Responsibility includes accessing training needs and identifying and implementing training solutions which includes hosting large and small Regional Training Events each year within our assigned geographic area. This position will lead through planning, recruiting trainers, communicating and marketing programs, managing revenue and expenses, and on-site administration of training programs. Additionally, the Director will design and develop training curriculum, and corresponding budgets, in partnership with regional leaders that includes a wide range of training initiatives and projects. This position will track training initiatives and measure the program’s effectiveness. Supports the YMCA of Greater Richmond in Association training needs and is part of the Human Resources team.

- A minimum of three years’ experience in training delivery, training event management, instructional design, e-learning and learning management system administration preferred.
- Proven record of quality training creation and delivery required.
- Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentations and facilitation skills essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail required.
- Must be comfortable with presentation technology and overall computer skills including Microsoft Office LMS and e-learning authoring software.
- The successful candidate will have proven superior time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills and ability to create and manage an annual budget.
- Ability to travel locally and throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, including overnight trips.
Salary: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00
