This position is responsible for overall membership and programs associated with the main YMCA downtown facility. This includes providing strategic leadership and direction along with recruiting and developing the finest of membership and program staff toward excellence in membership, wellness, sports, family and other facility-based services. Emphasis is placed on applying lessons learned from serving in the member engagement cohort.

- Financial management

Educational Background:
Have a four-year degree in a management or related field or six years of related field experience.
Skills/Experience:
- Be strong in human relations with exceptional listening and understanding skills, the ability to maintain a mission-focused culture and exhibit solid decision-making skills.
- Have demonstrated coaching skills in program development and implementation.
- Have a history of establishing strategic relationships and building trust.
- Have proven fiscal management skills.
- Have an exceptionally high level of emotional maturity.
- Be passionate about the YMCA mission and vision and must personally advocate and demonstrate the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.
- Demonstrate solid leadership as demonstrated by a high level of loyalty and respect among those this person leads.
- Have knowledge of and advocate YMCA goals and objectives.
- Have CPR and First aid certification prior to or within 60 days of hire.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00
