The Association Healthy Living Director  will lead and provide statistical data for the purpose of recommending business strategies to achieve revenue targets for Personal training & Group Exercise.  This role will collaborate with branch healthy living program directors and provide hands on support for the achievement of revenue targets as well as best practices for member services. The Association Healthy Living Director is a service role to the healthy living Program directors assigned to a branch.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Prepare, analyze & control the monthly budget
  • Collaborate internally with fellow service department leaders to support branch initiatives
  • Use Listen First skills to respond to member feedback, suggestions and complaints (as appropriate
  • Take an active role in the annual sustaining fundraising campaign
  • Abide by the onboarding processes and procedures as defined by the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Human Resources team.  This includes, but is not limited to the submission of all paperwork and criminal clearances to the satisfaction of the HR Team PRIOR to a staff member reporting to a site for work.
  • Meet timelines and deadlines related to supporting systems and employee compliance.  Examples include but are not limited to Dayforce HCM for review and approval of employee time sheets and timely submission of credit card statement coding and supporting documentation to Accounts Payable.
  • Work with the Service Team Leaders and all Wellness staff to uphold the YMCA customer service standards of “Facility Excellence”, “Staff Engagement” and “Show Y!”
  • Assist in the launch, integration and maintenance of new technological & technology improvements that support all aspects of the overall staff/member experience with new Innovative Wellness Programs and Group Exercise Program participation (i.e. Mindbody, ipads, apps, etc.)
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in business, health and wellness management or a related field preferred or equivalent expeirence
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong accounting background  
  • CPR and First Aid Required  
  • Must submit criminal clearances as prescribed by the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $54,238.00 - $81,356.00
