This full time, exempt position provides leadership and direction for the development, implementation and evaluation of procedures, processes and staff oversight for the operations function of the chapter to help achieve organization objectives. Position is based in the Philadelphia office and reports to the President & CEO of the Delaware Valley Chapter.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversight of the operational functions for eight Chapter offices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and office service providers.
- Functions as the Chapter central point of contact with Regional HR, IT, Finance, Lease Management
- Responsible for recruitment, training, coaching and supervision of all chapter operations staff and volunteers.
- Develop and monitor chapter operations procedures including data collection and analysis, purchasing, inventory, budgets and project management for programs, communications, development and events to achieve efficiency and cost savings.
- Assure compliance with all Association and chapter policies, procedures, standards and applicable regulatory requirements; promote Association-wide programs and initiatives. Examples I-9 completion, records retention, and office emergency plans
- Represent the Association at public events, conferences and work groups.
Educational Background:
Associate's degree in applicable field. Bachelor's preferred. Additional years of experience may substitute for degree.
Skills/Experience:
- Excellent communication skills.
- 3 years of leadership experience in operations management.
- 3 years of experience supervising staff.
- Absolute commitment to confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to become proficient with multiple organization-specific software platforms.
- Ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff and external contacts to build and maintain successful teams

- Ability to travel as needed to perform job duties. Travel by car to attend meetings within the chapter territory and in region as well as, occasional air travel.
- Valid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and access to reliable personal vehicle to meet travel requirements.
