Under the direction of the Facility Director/Assistant Facility Director, ensure clean and effective physical plant operation and maintenance of the entire complex for all assigned facilities; supervise Housekeeping/custodial Staff; perform routine and preventative maintenance as per maintenance calendar; inform management on any foreseeable problems with the facility; perform any repairs or renovations to the facility as required.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping staff
  • Supervise the 3rd shift cleaning crew
  • Monitor housekeeping supply stock/inventory
  • Conduct general housekeeping throughout the building to support the current staff during busy times
  • Conduct general light maintenance and repairs throughout the building
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on equipment as per weekly preventative maintenance calendar and maintain records.
  • Ensure all safety and risk management procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles as per weekly inspection list, review driver logs and maintain all records in binders per vehicle.
Educational Background: 
18 years old with a high school or technical high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3 - 5 years of building maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of several trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing and HVAC.
  • Knowledge of landscaping and plant care.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $34,000.00 - $38,000.00
