The Northeast Family branch of the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA is seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to serve as their Executive Director.   

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Oversee and manage the day to day operations of the branch including staffing, programing, facility operations, fundraising, and overall leadership.
  • Build community resources through the cultivation and development of relationships by actively engage members, volunteers and community leaders in the Y mission.
  • Develop a productive board of volunteers and build effective leadership for the branch and mission.
  • Participate as a member of the Association Management Team and serve on ad hoc committees and task forces.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5-10 years of related experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Demonstrated success in fund raising.
  • Leadership in operations/facility management required.
  • Experience in developing and motivating staff and volunteers.
  • Excellent fiscal management skills and ability to identify funding opportunities.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence.
