Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Sr. Program Director will build relationships with our staff, members and community.
  • This position will supervise the Wellness Director and Member Services staff.
  • The Sr. Program Director will focus on member engagement and retention, staff training and development, ensuring fiscal responsibility for all branch operations, and program quality.
  • Additionally, this position will work closely with the Executive Director to coordinate new programs and initiatives to engage community members, build and maintain community relationships with organizations, churches, schools and groups.
Educational Background: 
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least five year of related experience is required, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in membership, wellness or aquatics programming is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities and flexible work style are necessary.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and the ability to work with a variety of people, in a variety of situations are essential.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage interruptions and handle requests efficiently, successfully coach full-time and part-time staff, and have strong computer proficiency.
  • Applicants must be able to work a varied schedule, to include some evenings and weekends.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $44,000.00
