Manages, evaluates and maintains information system technologies, including networks, security and controls, training and supporting end-users, researching and implementing new technologies, establishing "best practices," and maximizing return on technology investments.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manages and oversees all aspects of information systemsacross 3 branches.
  • Develops and manages system security, back up processes, disaster recovery, and PCI Compliance.
  • Manage resources on Office 365, including email, security,OneDrive, Teams,and SharePoint sites.
  • Evaluates issues pertaining to information systems for strategic planning and innovation.
  • Analyze the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and applications in a domain environment, including Windows7, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suites
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
  • Manages technology inventory
  • Promptly respond to all “system down” calls during work and non-work hours.
  • Develops and monitors budgets related to information technology. Monitors the costs involved in maintaining and improving information systems, including equipment and software. Evaluates and recommends technology purchases based on the YMCA’s needs.
  • Assists in annual special events as necessary.
  • Acts as a positive role model while implementing YMCA character development and following the four core values of Caring, Honesty, Responsibility and Respect.
  • Understands supports and is committed to the YMCA’s cause and our role in the community as a leader in Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.
  • Oversees vendor contractsas it relates to IT.
  • Works with outside IT Consultants as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.

Educational Background: 
Bachelors or Associates Degree in computer science, information management or related field.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Three to five-plus years of professional experience in managing and supporting internal networks, hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of servers, switches, firewalls and operation systems, desktop hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of VMware ESXi Server Environment
  • CPR, AED, First Aid Certified and Y University within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to research and implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Skills in problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic Project Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, train and instruct users.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player
