Under the direction of the President and CEO, manage the daily operation of the Oroville Branch, including membership, marketing, programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, fundraising, community relations and collaborations with community agencies.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Effectively communicates and develops collaborationswhileworking closely with the Branch Advisory Council, Committees and Volunteers.
- Builds and maintains bridges between communities so that all have access to the Y.
- Provide inspired leadership for the organization, develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
- Reviews and closely manages budgeting process so that resources are devoted to top priorities and strategic objectives. Ensures operating budgets meet or exceed targets.
- Develop and implement an annual plan to raise vital funds for your branch in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner.
- Fosters a climate of innovation to develop member-focused programs which support the Y mission, goals, and strategies.
- Ensures the safety and maintenance of high quality facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Serves as a member of Y management and supports the overall objectives of the YMCA
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent.
Skills/Experience:
- Three or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency.
- Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, fundraising, marketing and public relations, and program development.
- Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of

- YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certifications may be required.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00
