The YMCA of Greater Omaha has a unique opportunity available within their Association Offices as a People Services Manager

The YMCA of Greater Omaha is poised for a new era of growth, and we want you to help us fuel it. You have the opportunity to make a long-lasting impact on the Omaha metro by growing the Y’s capacity to strengthen the community with a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As the People Services Manager, you will provide support to our executive leaders through logistics, hospitality and calendar management.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coordinates association-wide initiatives and calendar, ensuring major and on-going activities are pro-actively communicated and organized
  • Manages Key Leader on-boarding program
  • Acts as liaison to regional training team and supports local trainers by preparing materials, communicating expectations and managing budget
  • Manages administration of leadership and safety training
  • Plans and coordinates logistics for meetings and trainings including but not limited to participant experience and set-up
  • Creates a welcoming environment for all who visit our Association Services Office through hospitality and general office management (mail, supplies, general organization and support)
  • Supports CEO and Metro Board through meeting prep, scheduling, note taking and hospitality
  • Completes projects as requested by CEO and Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintains organized and confidential records and looks for ways to improve administrative efficiencies
  • Actively participates in department and association meetings and trainings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Excellent computer skills (word, excel, outlook, power point)
  • Administrative, project management, hospitality and/or event coordination experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet deadlines
  • Complete within 30 days of hire: YMCA Brand, Cause & Culture, Child Abuse Prevention, and other safety training
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of 
    the community and successful clearance of background check.

Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $41,132.00 - $47,919.00
