This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Facility Services Administrator enhances YMCA properties by assisting in supervision of Environmental Services staff and monitoring property needs across the association.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides ‘hands on’ housekeeping assistance, as needed, to Environmental Services Manager during staff vacancies, call ins or days off.
- Monitors and assists in supervision of Environmental Services Technicians for proper cleaning methods, product/equipment usage and time management.
- Assists with the recruitment and training of Environmental Services Technicians.
- Informs property team of maintenance issues.
- Maintains tools and equipment in a safe, functional and orderly manner.
- Assists location staff as needed to maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Relates to the public in a positive manner.
- Actively participates in department and association staff meetings and/or related trainings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Background:
High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree highly desirable
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 1 year Commercial Housekeeping experience
- Demonstrated success leading member-focused or equivalent team preferred
- Complete within 30 days of hire: Child Abuse Prevention, risk management and other maintenance-specific certifications, as needed
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community and successful clearance of background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between branches on a daily basis required.

Compensation/Benefits:
Hourly; $14.86 - $17.31
