Coordinate and implement youth sports programs that encourage teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coordinate, plan, and implement youth & adult sports programs as assigned.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to assigned program staff, monitoring performance and providing development and leadership. Report staff successes and/or issues to Operations Director and assist with staff evaluations.
  • Ensure sufficient staff-to-participant ratios for assigned programs and personally cover shifts if necessary.
  • Maintain good public relations and open communication with participants & parents.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of all equipment and facilities utilized by programs.
  • Promptly respond to all emergency situations by adhering to the current emergency procedure guidelines and participate in ‘Manager on Duty’ schedule.

Skills/Experience: 
  • Education or previous experience in youth development or recreation, preferred.
  • Staff supervision experience preferred.
  • Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
