As a member of the CEO’s Leadership Team, this position is focused on elevating – both internally and externally – the image and recognition of the Y’s impact through philanthropy.  Working in partnership with the CEO, this position will focus on annual giving, major gifts, capital initiatives, relationship development, advocacy and strategy advancement.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Work with the CEO to develop the Y’s overall philanthropy strategies including annual philanthropic objectives and goals.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive year-round stewardship program to cultivate deeper ties with Y donors.
  • Provide leadership in enhancing infrastructure and information systems, analytics, processes and measurements that support the Y’s fundraising efforts and results ensuring state of the art technology.
  • Coordinate association wide grant research writing and reporting, including support of key program initiatives and manage the Association’s designated giving model.
  • Supervise the Director of Annual Giving and oversee the implementation of comprehensive training in financial development, educating and motivating both staff and volunteers in best practices.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum of 5years experience in financial development, marketing, sales and/or relationship development.
  • Proven ability to prioritize objectives and tasks while managing diverse projects, multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and effective teams.
  • Innovative problem solving and creative strategies. 
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00
