As the Senior Analyst, Data & Reporting, you will be part of the Assessment & Analysis sub-team on the larger Risk and Compliance Team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate & routine compliance reports for the organization, as well as supporting the internal audit team understanding data trends, and related risks. In this role, you will interact with numerous stakeholders across Teach For America as well as be part of a small and dynamic team that provides strategic perspective to both our national and regional teams. The Senior Analyst, Data & Reporting will report to the Managing Director, Assessment & Analysis
Compliance reporting (50%)
- Run data reports, analyze the data and create monthly compliance dashboards that provide leaders and managers with a point-in time report of their teams’ compliance efforts.
- On a quarterly basis (and in some cases more frequently), perform analysis of team, portfolio and org-wide results in order to identify area of improvement, challenges and progress made.
- Use the insights gained from these reporting activities to suggest improvements to existing tools, and enhancements to user experience.
Audit Support (30%)
- For each audit project, run the necessary reports from the organization’s systems of record and share insights on attributes of this data to the internal audit team
- Analyze data in order to understand trends, identify risks, and compliance failures in the course of an audit
- Support the regional audit plan by managing common testing and reporting templates and delivering them to the teams and stakeholders in a timely basis.
Other Support (20%)
- Support the policy and risk portfolio leaders with non-routine data extraction and reporting needs, if and when they arise.
- 4+ years of data management and analysis experience required. Audit experience is helpful but not required
- Proven history of taking initiative and driving projects forward
- Proven history of working successfully under tight deadlines
