As the Managing Director of Email, you will establish and execute a vision for how the organization leverages email to recruit prospects, nurture current corps members, and engage alumni and other members of the Teach For America network of education reformers. You will be responsible for developing an email governance strategy, as well as improving the operational process of email execution and deployment across the organization, with the end goals of building and sustaining relationships with our key audiences and moving people to act.
You will work with Marketing and Communications team members (user experience, user interface, copywriters) to develop a series of email templates that meet the needs of specific users and enable Teach For America to connect their message to the right audience at the right time. You will foster investment in email across the organization, create trainings and presentations, and manage the team that executes organizational email initiatives. In addition to overseeing the national email strategy and execution, your team will partner with regions, recruitment team members, and strategic initiatives to support their email activities. Your job will involve a high degree of planning, developing, testing, and analyzing email campaigns, as well as working closely with cross-functional and partner teams. You will be responsible for ensuring adoption of best practices for sending, tracking, and optimizing email campaigns and you will be excited to develop solutions that meet communication goals.
