Teach For America is seeking a Manager, National Corporate Partnerships on the National Corporate Partnerships Team. In this role, you would support the National Corporate Partnerships Team “account management” work, which is focused on strengthening, deepening and expanding our work with all current corporate partners. You would be responsible for supporting the end-to-end portfolio management of all current corporate partners and contributing towards the broader National Corporate Partnerships Team’s and National Development Team’s goals and priorities.
This position requires a customer service orientation, a deep sense of personal responsibility, excellent communication skills –especially in writing, a rigorous attention to detail, and strong organizational and project management skills. The Manager will report to the Director, National Corporate Partnerships and will work closely with the VP, National Corporate Partnerships as well.
Portfolio Management Support (75%)
You are responsible for supporting the Director, National Corporate Partnerships in the complete ownership of and successful execution of end-to-end portfolio management – for all current corporate partners. This includes supporting the engagement, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a significant portfolio of current corporate partners, maximizing their commitment to TFA’s operations and mission. Activities include but are not limited to:
- Grant/report writing: drafting all grant proposals and reports for our current corporate partners, creating best in class products
- Meeting prep: conducting research and analysis and creating all prep required for meetings with current corporate partners. This includes creating prep for the Director or VP of National Corporate Partnerships, our CEO, or other senior leaders or board members
- Operational planning: Help create, in partnership with the Director, National Corporate partnerships, and oversee management against a tactical plan for all current partners – ensuring we hit target dates for landing meetings, submitting proposals and reports, etc.
- Partner Management Support: For all partners, support the execution of partnerships as needed with guidance from the Director, National Corporate Partnerships – this can include: working with the finance and/or legal teams to create budgets or contracts, gathering input from program teams, regional teams, or other internal stakeholders; ensuring we complete all next steps coming out of meetings, etc.
- Gift Processing: You will work with our revenue operations team to process all corporate donations and to write a donor acknowledgement letter promptly after receiving the gift.
Data Management (15%)
You will be responsible for ensuring 100% data accuracy for all current corporate partners in Teach For America’s Salesforce system, which includes:
- Inputting and maintaining data for all current partners, including: opportunities, interactions, key communications, etc.
- Ensuring all data records for corporate partners (e.g. address, primary point of contact) are accurate
Special Projects (10%)
You will support on special, team-wide projects as needed on an ad-hoc basis
- 2-5 years+ of professional experience
- Experience in setting ambitious goals and achieving results
- Experience in fundraising or corporate social responsibility a plus
