As Manager, Fundraising Data & Systems, you are charged with supporting fundraising-related data operations on the Data Quality, Technology & Learning team. You create an environment where regional data management is simplified through the use of current and creation of new robust data processing systems, while always maintaining the highest level of data integrity. You ensure the high data quality within our Salesforce environment through execution of and innovation within data processes. You also ensure our users receive the best possible customer service and support through our help desk. In this role you are expected to inspire diverse groups, work creatively with technology and have an optimistic, flexible approach to problem solving.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Development Data Management & Operational Systems (55%)

  • Support national and regional data management needs in Salesforce through the creation of replicable systems and the execution of ad-hoc data uploads
  • Ensure Salesforce database is clear of duplicate donor accounts, and that overall data quality remains at a high level through existing and new centralized processes
  • Ensure online donations are accurately and comprehensively integrated into the Salesforce
  • Maintain high quality documentation of development data management processes
  • Continuously improve core business-as-usual systems and processes through innovative and creative uses of technology

Org-Wide Data Management (20%)

  • Create data management systems to support org-wide work streams like Annual Budgeting and Goal Setting, stewardship of Corps Member parents, and Prospect Research
  • Serve as Development Data Steward, proactively engaging with other national team stewards to ensure high data quality in Salesforce, and effective cross-team collaboration within regional teams

Help Desk Management (15%)

  • Respond to questions from internal staff to our DevoSupport@ help desk that fall in your area of expertise
  • Serve as the technical expert on all data-related inquiries, supporting the Director, Data Quality & Technology in engaging with our external vendors to support our internal staff

Cross Functional Technology Support (15%)

  • Work with Director, Data Quality & Technology to deliver on interim and long-term data operations processes in support of Development Technology Vision
  • Work with the TFACT Systems Learning & Support team to increase technology adoption and knowledge of data best practices within the broader development team
Skills/Experience: 
  • Working in non-profit or finance data and operations
  • Working in Salesforce or other cloud-based constituent relationship management system
  • Extracting, transforming, and loading complex datasets
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (other data management platforms a plus)
  • Use of Business Intelligence reporting systems a plus
