NRDC is seeking a legal fellow to work with the NY Regional team in our New York office. The fellow will do legal research, writing, and participate in advocacy campaigns to increase the sustainability and equity of our food system—starting in NY. The fellow will be full time but split their time between Pace University Law School and NRDC. They will remain a full time employee of Shearman and Sterling.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Conduct legal research
- Write legal memos
- Participate in team meetings
- Attend outside meetings or events
Educational Background:
Required: Law degree, legal research and writing skills, interest in food system.
Skills/Experience:
- Preferred: Knowledge of food system issues.
