  • As the Director of Business Analysis, you will have the opportunity to work on organization wide (i.e., enterprise wide) information technology (IT) projects that improve the ability of staff members to do their job more effectively and efficiently.
  • You are passionate about the impact technology can have on improving the staff experience and accelerating work towards our mission.
  • You will be accountable for the success of key strategic foundational technology initiatives with a specific focus on operations, infrastructure, cyber security, and organizational support provided through IT services.
  • You will have a zest for process improvement, possess relevant business and systems analysis experience, agile software development, and mastery of enterprise-level technology systems.
  • You will seek to improve technology delivery through DevOps practices and collaborate closely with Development teams to influence adoption of best practices.
Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Translate business processes into existing technologies, new solutions or hybrid approaches. [25%]
  • Capture, clarify, and translate business requirements and complex operational processes, across a geographically dispersed organization, into technical solutions.  Drive the process from understanding of the issue, through necessary documentation and final resolution and implementation of solution.  [35%]
  • Define, revise & recommend improvements to business processes. [5%]
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and recommendations to internal clients. [5%]
  • Create a change management plan and provide training and support for foundational technology to all staff members [5%]
  • Work with the IT DevOps team, organize and lead change efforts to successfully deliver increased value to the org through strong DevOps practices [15%]
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and a roadmap to deliver upon the vision. [5%]
  • Prepare user stories and visual representations to specify in detail the business and functional processes of a new application or enhancement. [5%]
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant job experience.

  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results; able to manage multiple projects and concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to new information and evolving business needs.
