Reporting to the Director, Digital Platforms, the Digital Production Coordinator will be be joining a cutting-edge team in the digital non-profit space. This position will support a diverse national network of digital producers and communicators, as well as help optimize and maintain the digital platforms they use. The ideal candidate will have a penchant for picking things up, curiosity for absorbing and figuring out new systems, and using technology to provide unique solutions to the organization's challenges.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Traffic and fulfill organizational requests regarding digital properties
- Execute production work from light (using a CMS) to heavy (editing HTML/CSS/JS)
- Manage quality assurance (QA) process for new and existing digital properties
- Provide database/CRM support, including manual configuration and data maintenance
- Help train other staff in use of CMS and light production tasks
- Potentially help develop and run user and A/B testing programs
- Occasionally take on project management responsibilities
- Work to ensure proper integration of external systems
- Oversee production side of relationship with external vendors
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills/Experience:
- At least 1-2 years work experience, preferably in a digital production capacity
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, with a focus on finding efficient solutions to workflow problems
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of HTML and CSS styling; familiarity with Javascript/jQuery and PHP a plus
- Very comfortable with using a wide variety digital software and platforms, with a willingness to learn new ones as needed
- Willing to work with people with a broad spectrum of digital skills
- Experience with Drupal, Google Analytics and EveryAction a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Basecamp preferred
