Campaign Services Operations Manager, Team In Training

An enthusiastic professional who is able to implement program operations initiatives, improve systems and processes, and effectively execute tasks to accommodate the recruitment and cultivation of participants. Internal-facing support to Campaign Managers, Area Directors and Volunteer Leadership Teams, supporting six chapters within the East Region. Level role is commensurate with experience and area of responsibility.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Centralize operations related responsibilities from the field to allow Field Staff (Campaign Managers and Area Directors) to focus on fundraising and recruitment
  • Assist in data entry, management and reporting for recruitment and cultivation purposes
  • Facilitate information collection and logistics confirmation for setup in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Provide back end financial support in the way of invoice processing, coding, reimbursements, charges and funds allocation
  • Order supplies for fundraising and training
  • Manage operations and administrative tasks for assigned events
  • Manage coach contracting and payments
  • Respond to requests from the field to maximize opportunities for recruitment and cultivation
  • Staff local events onsite as needed(TCS New York City Marathon, United Airlines NYC Half, etc...)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 1–3 years’ experience with Operations & Administrative Management

Position Requirements:

  • Strong people skills with a focus on internal customer service, communication and teamwork.
  • Excellent time management, emphasizing service excellence and adherence to prescribed processes.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Strong word processing, database management, and computer skills (Microsoft Office) with ability to collect and organize data effectively.
  • Be a self-starter, problem-solver and manage assignments independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively within a highly productive and diverse team setting. Must be persistent, organized, and possess the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Knowledge of Team In Training and the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: 

  • Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations. May be required to lift 25-40 pounds with assistance.
