Global Projects Manager

This person will be responsible for developing coordinating multiple teams and managing multiple projects international in scope. The exact nature and content of these projects will vary over time – sometimes a rapid-response campaign push, sometimes an international conference, sometimes a mass mobilisation project, etc.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced mobiliser, project manager, and group leader with creative vision, practical know-how, and relentless attention to detail. We will be looking for someone with demonstrated experience in developing and executing projects of varying scopes with efficiency and efficacy and bringing along the full team in the process. Experience with collaborative group processes, and of working across a variety of cultures, will be distinct advantages.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Established track record of successful project management in an international environment and in a wide range of contexts
  • Experience with different project management tools
  • Excellent self-organising skills
  • Strong leadership ability, yet also a team player
  • Able to translate concept into implementation nimbly
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude
  • An excellent leader/coordinator of diverse international teams and also willing to dig in on all kinds of tasks
  • Culturally intelligent - truly interested in learning about different regions and able to articulate issues in a manner that bring people together to make progress
  • Can juggle multiple responsibilities across various teams and can nimbly respond to unexpected opportunities
  • Able to travel internationally
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
Skills/Experience:

    • digital campaigning
    • value-based audience analysis and approach
    • non-violent direct action and civil disobedience
