We are New York City's top-performing and fastest-growing charter school network, and we are fundamentally reshaping public education. To ensure long-lasting change and a school model that will prepare current and future generations of children from all backgrounds with the subject mastery and skills to succeed in college and life, we have reconceived every aspect of school design, from elementary to high school. We now need results-driven Education Managers to join our school community.
The Education Management Team plays a pivotal role in our school design and the lives of scholars and families. Success Academy seeks Education Managers to work in our high-performing elementary and middle schools. Working hand in hand with the Principal, our Education Managers function as active members of our school leadership teams on a career path after 3 or more years that ultimately can lead to an Assistant Principal or Principal track or to roles at the Network, from data analytics to scholar support to our Academics team. It requires capacity to develop a holistic understanding of our school model to diagnose data trends, create educational plans, and help scholars and families get special education services to, ultimately, drive change in educational practice.
Reporting to the Principal, the Education Manager owns decision-making around scholars who need special education services and has responsibility for pushing those cases through the educational bureaucracy. Education Managers also own data and data analytics locally. All teachers and school leaders must know the health of their schools. Education Managers own providing this knowledge so that educators can make strategic decisions about changes that need to make to radically improve student outcomes. Education Managers are in charge of administering with absolute integrity all assessments and state tests. School psychologists and Education coordinators report into the Education Manager.
At Success Academy, we invest in talent development, supporting our staff to grow in their careers and expand their impact in service of our school communities and dual mission. As such, we require minimally a 2-year commitment for all Education Managers. If for any reason, you cannot make that commitment, please do not apply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing special education process and ensuring all kids who need services receive them in real-time
- Producing all State of Schools Data and owning all educators being informed about success or failure in meeting benchmarks
- Administering all assessments and high stakes exams with absolute integrity
- Ensuring all parents are informed about their child’s progress and gaps
- Exceeding all Education Manager deliverables
Successful candidates have both leadership and managerial strengths:
- Highest ethical standards

- Leaderly
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong people management
To join our team, please upload a cover letter and resume that outlines your candidacy. Your cover letter should explain in detail your qualifications for the position. Resumes without cover letters will not be reviewed.
