The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is searching for a cause-driven leader to serve as ITS Application Support Manager in beautiful Nashville, TN!

Consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, under the direction of the SVP of ITS, the Applications Support Manager is responsible for administration, configuration and support of software systems and processes as necessary to support association operations.

 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Support the YMCA mission and model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Model and put into practice behavior that supports inclusion and diversity
  • Provide systems administration and support for a variety of software applications and systems
  • Serve as staff expert on MS Office Suite of Tools (including Office 365)
  • Consult with vendors and association staff in the creation of system integrations that improve business processes
  • Manage assigned implementation and integration projects to ensure they meet business requirements and goals
  • Provide systems (API) and/or data integrations using various technologies such as REST, XML, FTP, WinAutomation etc.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the YMCA’s web presence as requested by the website team
  • Provide custom reporting support from various systems as needed
  • Assist in Information Technology projects, as directed by SVP of IT
  • Provide second level, end-user support to Help Desk
  • Provide after hour including weekend support as a member of the ITS On Call Rotation Support Team
  • Serve as a contributing member of the staff team of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee
Educational Background: 
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Skills/Experience: 
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA
  • An enthusiastic personality with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, volunteers and members to support a culture of service within our Centers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
  • Must present a professional image and possess conflict resolution skills, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and multiple deadlines
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Minimum two years’ experience with / solid knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools, including Office 365; minimum two years’ experience with applications support and administration
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with programming (database, web, client or server side)
  • Proficiency with general office software applications and equipment is required
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $49,880.00 - $62,350.00
