The Digital Marketing Coordinator will proactively develop and execute the digital/online marketing strategy for all digital media platforms, including the website, social media, e-mail marketing, online publishing, digital advertising and mobile app to evolve and elevate the Y’s digital presence with a goal of increasing member growth, member engagement and retention, and fund development.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Create, direct and execute a cohesive strategy and comprehensive calendar for digital marketing, marketing technology, content creation, and web strategy
  • Maintain website presence with timely updates, managing design, brand and content to position the site on high SEO standings
  • Develop and manage timely, relevant, and engaging posts on social media channels
  • Utilize Google Analytics, AdWords, and remarketing accounts. Maximize Google Grants
  • Create e-mail communications including content, list management, and targeting
  • Create a digital media plan for fundraising
  • Manage external partners/vendors to ensure alignment with project expectations
  • Foster a collaborative team environment between marketing and branch teams
  • Analyze traffic trends and develop recommendations and strategies for improvement with specific emphasis on online reach; conversion rates and revenue tracking; and donation impact
  • Manage and ensure all digital channels are synchronized in terms of content, messages, and design
  • Develop and publish various videos, using phone cam and editing software
  • Use Photoshop, Illustrator, and other software tools to create digital graphics
  • Research digital trends and introduce cutting edge options
  • Measure, track and report on all digital platforms to include e-mail communications, website, and social media channels
  • Align digital content with marketing and communications strategies
  • Support other areas of marketing and communications department as needed
Educational Background: 
Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field a plus
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience working in or demonstrated ability to understand web, social media, digital content management, Google analytics, Google AdWords, Grants and/or Remarketing
  • Strong aptitude and demonstrated experience with design software, and application tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and others
  • Strong personality and an ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity
  • Basic HTML coding knowledge
  • Ability to self-prioritize and work independently, and as a member of a team on group tasks
  • Ability to shoot and edit video a plus
  • Must be able to handle and meet multiple deadlines and possess strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, targeting diverse audiences
  • Good technical understanding and demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly, while researching and staying up on current development and resource tools.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization and keyword research
  • Proven copywriting and editing experience; must have excellent spelling and grammatical skills with great attention to details
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00
