Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Preschool Enrichment Director will develop and manage all arts and STEM activities, summer camp and special events and birthday parties for the preschool members at the Geyer Family Branch.
The Preschool Enrichment Director will also be responsible for the overall program development, implementation administration, supervision and evaluation of programs that benefit both youth members and their families. The Director will work collaboratively with staff and manage day-to-day program operations. This team will work to identify opportunities, create cohesive and comprehensive experiences and initiate the creation of new and innovative preschool and family programs in accordance with the needs of the community as dictated by branch priorities and objectives. This may include collaboration with various internal departments and external community partners In addition, the Preschool Enrichment Director would oversee a team that manages all summer camps operating out of the branch as well as related offsite camps.
- Recruits, trains, and develops non-exempt and part-time program staff and volunteers.
- Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
- Organizes and schedules program offerings.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of staff and participation in the program.
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with other community organizations.
- Develops and monitors program budgets to meet fiscal objectives.
- Coordinates the use of related facilities for program activities and events.
- Establishes new program activities and expands the program within the community in accordance with the Association and branch strategic plans.
- Assists in branch fundraising activities and special events.
- Responds to all participant and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
- Assists with Program Committee meetings

- Exhibit personal and professional behavior in a manner consistent with the best interest of the Association, so as not to bring discredit to the Association.
- Perform such other job-related duties as may be periodically assigned by the Supervisor.
- Cooperate, work effectively and congenially with all YMCA staff members, volunteers, and members of the Association.
- Ability to supervise staff, develop/monitor department budget, develop age-appropriate programming.
- Prior supervisory work experience (5+ years) in an Arts related field or Non-profit.
- Excellent human relation skills, good organizational, communication and teaching skills.
Salary: $44,500.00 - $52,400.00
