The HRMS and Payroll Manager will provide project coordination and overall management of the information systems to support HR, Payroll, and other interrelated functions for the organization.  The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and development of HRMS systems and solutions and for directing and overseeing all payroll functions.  The incumbent will ensure proper administration of the various benefit plans. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead and direct the work of the HRMS/Payroll/Benefits team; including Senior HRMS and Payroll Specialist, Senior Payroll Administrator, Benefits Specialist, HRMS Administrator and HR Coordinator
  • Provide excellent customer service and direction for timely and accurate payroll preparation and processing
  • Oversee data integrity, application configuration, user acceptance testing, and day-to-day application support, currently Kronos Workforce Central 7.0
  • Identify process improvements, innovative solutions and system enhancements to improve business efficiency
  • Deliver analysis, tools and standard reporting solutions to support decision making needs within the organization. Coordinate with the BT team on the development and maintenance of custom reports and interfaces with internal/external systems and vendors.  
  • Anticipate challenges, manage competing priorities, effectively communicate with all stakeholders, and maximize the use of the HRMS systems to lower the cost of ownership
  • Identifies training needs for HRMS end-users and develops training resources
  • Oversee HR files and records management for the department
  • Leads special projects as necessary
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 

Required

  • Five years or more experience in related field, including experience with HRMS and Payroll systems
  • Minimum of two years providing direct or indirect supervision to others
  • Solid knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
  • Experience with payroll/HRMS system support
  • Experience with report writing software
  • Experience with project management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of organization
  • Must possess strong analytical, planning, organization and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • PC experience including all Microsoft Office Suite Products
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to present technical information in an easy to understand format
  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential information
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members both orally and written

Preferred

  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Central Suite and/or Kronos Workforce Acquisition
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, Workforce Integration Manager, and/or SSRS
  • Strong technical, analytical, and spreadsheet/database skills
Compensation/Benefits: 

 

Salary: $71,000.00 - $83,000.00
