The Graphic Design and Web Manager will provide anticipatory, forward thinking and self-starting implementation and coordination of the Association’s brand through graphic design and online presence. The Graphic Design and Web Manager will work closely with the VP of Marketing to effectively market and promote the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota chapter to maintain alignment with the strategic plan.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead graphic design and assure compliance with all Association branding policies, procedures, standards and applicable regulatory requirements; promote Association-wide programs and initiatives
  • Create, produce and distribute marketing materials including advertising, brochures, press kits, annual report, newsletters, fact sheets and other branded materials; design layouts as needed
  • Design and distribute monthly e-communications through and Luminate; help maintain updated contact list
  • Manage implementation of online initiatives including website (alz.org/mnnd), other web initiatives, online calendar and creative rotation
  • Attend applicable meetings
  • Assist in tracking and managing resources and information, including Association photos/images, design files, and web analytics
  • Manage process, development and requests for creative through Trello and Google Docs
  • Serve as leader and collaborator for graphic designers in Region 5, share best practices, design files and manage graphic design server
  • Manager graphic design and photography/videography volunteers
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree required, Bachelor’s in marketing preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in marketing, graphic design or communications
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Flickr, LinkedIn, YouTube), Google Docs, Content Management System (Kentico), Convio/Luminate
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing 
  • Strong writing skills preferred
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
