The Corporate Wellness Account Manager develops, manages and retains relationships with corporate partners to meet established Association objectives.  In partnership with the Senior Director of Corporate Wellness, works closely with Branches and Senior Leadership to impact member engagement and retention while performing all duties demonstrating YMCA values and a commitment to excellence.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Identify and engage prospective companies to promote the Corporate Wellness program which may include researching, cold calling and meeting face to face.
  • Develops strategies for building successful and long-lasting relationships between corporate partners and the Association.
  • Meet monthly and annual corporate wellness membership goals, program sales, and retention objectives including increasing and maintaining company penetration rates.
  • Collaborate with Vice President of Membership Development and Senior Director of Corporate Wellness to design and implement an Association Corporate Wellness strategy.
  • Collaborate with Membership Sales teams to implement marketing strategies and sales initiatives.
  • Continually evaluate Corporate Wellness Dashboard ensuring consistent tracking, measurement and performance of corporate sales.
  • Improve member satisfaction by working with Healthy Living teams to develop & deliver successful programming to associated corporate members.
  • Provide quality customer service and engage current and potential members and volunteers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Branch and Senior Leadership.
  • Business Development projects as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related field; or equivalent work experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of one (1) year of sales experience with a proven track record of initiative, creativity and motivation to surpass challenging performance goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly
  • Excellent communication and strong influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation, writing and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in highly flexible, rapidly changing work environment
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to deal with pressure in meeting sales goals
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications (within 30 days of hire).

Preferred:

  • Experience working with a nonprofit organization
  • Experience working in Healthy Living programs
