As the Senior Associate, Paralegal, you will be responsible for management of all Entity Reporting and Maintenance for the organization, including but not limited to: Charitable Solicitation Registrations, Business Registrations, Foreign Corporation Registrations, State Tax Exemption filings, Business Personal Property Registrations and other related reports.  You will also be expected to support the ServiceNow system for the Legal Affairs team, and other internal resources.  The Senior Associate, Paralegal will report to the Deputy General Counsel, Legal Affairs.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Compliance Management

  • Manage annual filings for state business registrations, charitable solicitation registrations, and state tax exemption filings and related reports
  • Manage outside vendors providing registrations services: tracking usage and status of contracted services, processing invoices and payments, etc.
  • Manage all entity maintenance; including filing necessary forms, processing payment(s), track and follow-up on registrations and other entity maintenance related matters

Data Reporting and ServiceNow Management

  • Manage and update Legal Affairs TFAHub (intranet) pages
  • Manage Legal Affairs inbox
  • Develop system for managing ServiceNow matters: routing legal requests, monitoring and closing matters, and running matter reports
  • Develop and run ServiceNow data analytics
  • Use data insights gained from these reporting activities to suggest improvements to existing tools, and enhancements to user experience.

Contracts Administration Support and Other Support

  • Manage Contracts inbox
  • Support contracts policy administration: update templates, contract review, develop and run analytics, etc.
  • Manage and update Contracts Hub on TFANet (intranet)
  • Management of Legal Affairs vendor process and invoicing
  • Support other day-to-day operations of the team and Deputy General Counsel
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3+ years of work experience, including required data management experience and some project management experience preferred
  • Proven history of taking initiative and driving projects forward
  • Proven history of working successfully under tight deadlines

Skills

  • Strong skills with Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn to source data from multiple databases
  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting, Box reporting, and/or Google Analytics strongly preferred
  • Comfort making data driven decisions and recommendations
  • Ability to build trust based and meaningful relationships across the organization
  • Client-service driven orientation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility; must have the ability to adjust to quickly changing requirements and requests
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion

Work Requirements

  • Work must be performed out of Memphis, TN or Chicago, IL offices
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required
