The Preschool Child Care Teacher is responsible for the direct supervision, teaching and safety of all enrolled children in the Preschool Program (including a group of up to 12 children per teacher). The position plans monthly curriculum and conducts activities for preschool-age children and assists in the implementation of enriching and nurturing children's program.ThePreschoolChild CareTeacher assists the site Director with the licensing compliance, classroom environments and maintenance of program quality and school readiness standards for the site. This position must ensure the safety of children at all times.

Educational Background: 
High School Diploma or equivalent; High School English proficiency, AA or higher in ECE/CD or related field (preferred)
Skills/Experience: 
  • Eighteen years or older
  • Minimum of twelve (12) units in Early Childhood Education completed, including core courses of child development, child, family, and community and ECE curriculum classes
  • Experience working with children in a preschool setting.
  • Strong character values, communication skills, emotional maturity
  • Current Pediatric First Aid; Adult, Infant and Child CPR; Preventive Health Practices Certifications (required).
Compensation/Benefits: 

Hourly: $15.00
