Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers for a large international Human Rights Watch conference (the Council Summit), to be held in Los Angeles from Monday, June 3-Wednesday, June 5, 2019, with a pre-Summit side event on Sunday, June 2. Ideally volunteers will be available for a minimum of 4 hours between the hours of 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

The event, a three-day conference that provides an intensive learning experience about the work of Human Rights Watch, will begin with a pre-Summit afternoon film screening & discussion at Universal Studios on Sunday, June 2nd, followed by Summit events from June 3-5.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Setting up event space with HRW décor;
  • Assembling centerpieces;
  • Registration;
  • Ushers and Door Attendants;
  • Greeting and Directing Guests; and
  • Other Miscellaneous Tasks
