  • Help to create a content calendar for the lead-up to the events, and share and amplify mobilising materials for Rise on our social media channels throughout the summer.
  • Produce or source simple graphics and visual content for social media use, including inspiring quotes and clips from the European network.
  • Coordinate the translation of email and social media communications into European languages especially French, German and English.
  • Over the weekend of 7-9 September, support live coverage of the European Rise for Climate Action events including coordinating live streaming, photography, video, and monitoring and curating social media posts from the network.
  • Creating and amplifying wrap-up content of Rise for Climate Action for Europe audiences, to share success stories.

Skills/Experience:
  • Some experience in digital organising and campaigning – whether as part of non-governmental organisations, grassroots networks, or other groups.
  • Familiarity with some of the digital tools used by 350.org (ActionKit, Action Network, ControlShiftLabs, Wordpress, Slack, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tint, Animoto, Buffer, Tweetdeck etc.) or experience/proven aptitude for working with similar digital tools and a basic understanding of HTML.
