YMCA head Swim Team Coach

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the swim team coach manages the swim team in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the YMCA of the USA, USA swimming and the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA. Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for swim team participants. Attends all swim meet and team functions throughout the year as well as being responsible for creating and maintaining a safe environment for members and participants.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • This position will oversee the entire operations of the Association's Swim Team.   Currently nearly 100 children swim year round.  We compete throughout the region and have particpated in the YMCA National Swim Meets. 
  • This position will also work in partnership with the local high school swim team. 
  • The position will supervise all assistant coahes and assist working with the swim lesson coordinator to provide a feeder program to the team.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and current lifeguard certification necessary, 2 years competitive coaching experience preferred as well.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $27,000.00 - $30,000.00
