The YMCA of Southern Nevada is currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated candidates for the following position at our Sky View YMCA location:

Under the direction of the Executive Director the position's primary goal is to assist in the administration of health & wellness programs for members in accordance with the objectives and policies set forth by the Association.

Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Experience:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Certified Group Exercise Instructor
  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Educational background in fitness testing or exercise physiology (recommended).
  • Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation.
  • Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforces safety regulations, and applies appropriate mana
Compensation/Benefits: 

Hourly: $14.00 - $18.00
