Join The La Crosse Area Family YMCA in La Crosse, WI as one of our NEW Youth & Family Director positions. Two positions are available.

The Dahl (La Crosse) and Houser (Onalaska) branches are seeking two highly passionate, organized and innovative leaders to oversee our Y-Child Watch and Preschool programs at their designated Y along with family programming which includes, Birthday Parties, Primetime Center, Family Events and the Family Fun Center (Dahl only).

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Hire, train, supervise, coach and schedule part-time staff for Y-Child Watch, Preschool, and Family programs and events.
  • Assure high standards of program quality and safety guidelines within Y-Child Watch, Preschool, and Family programming and events.
  • Participate in management meetings.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong knowledge of child development and experience working with infants - children 7 years old
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $32,000.00 - $34,000.00
