Join our director team at the La Crosse Area Family YMCA as our Reach & Rise Mentoring Director and help strengthen our community through leadership, oversight, and ongoing development and implementation of our Y's Reach and Rise Mentoring Program. This program is a national YMCA program tha thelps youth and teens succeed by matching them one-on-one with adult mentors for 12 months. This is a full-time exempt position with a full benefits package and a free family Y membership.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Recruiting, training, and matching volunteers with youth and teens
  • Engaging with youth, adults, and the community
  • Managing risk
  • Ensuring uniformity of training curriculum, data collection, outcome objectives, and ongoing clinical support
  • Managing and ensuring compliance with all aspects of the grant and a partnership agreement with YUSA 
Educational Background: 
Applicants must have a Master's Degree in social work or counseling or be working toward that degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Contract and budget management experience
  • Program development skills
  • A passion for and experience working with youth
Compensation/Benefits: 

$40,000.00
