Family Programs Director

We are looking for a creative, results-driven individual to develop and grow family programming and increase member engagement. Under the direction of the Advanced Program Director, the Family Programs Director is responsible for overseeing the development and operations of key family programs.  These programs include but are not limited to:

  • TGIF - a fun, family, Friday night event that runs twice per month
  • Enrichment Programs - such as Dance, Pottery, Theatre and more
  • Birthday Parties
  • Teen Programming
  • Weekly activities to engage families

The weekly schedule will consist of working Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday, depending on program and branch needs, and must be available to work Fridays until 9:00 pm. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Family Programs Director is also responsible for management duties including working as a member of the Y leadership team, staff supervision, program development, fiscal management, program promotion, quality assurance and assisting with other branch special events and projects, as assigned.  
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Two years of direct supervisory experience with child, youth or family programming preferred.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00
