Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Facilities Director will oversee and supervise the physical operation of the branch buildings, grounds and vehicles.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Supervise and direct all branch custodial and maintenance staff
  • Work with branch team and other Facility Directors in an effort to continually improve member satisfaction
  • Provide prompt response to staff and members for cleanliness, maintenance and/or buildings and grounds issues
  • Maintain swimming pools per CCHD and PA Department of Health Regulations
  • Maintain grounds in a safe manner and pleasing appearance according to the season
  • Maintain all building systems in a fully operational condition
  • Have all seasonal facilities open and operational
  • Maintain inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies
  • Coordinate and lead branch Buildings and Grounds meetings
  • Follow all Association safety standards when performing any tasks
  • Ensure all YMCA vehicles are clean and in good working condition and driven only by association approved drivers
  • Maintain all building and fire suppression inspections
  • Develop and control department budgets
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Educational Background: 
High school diploma or GEDrequired
Skills/Experience: 
  • Bilingual Candidates highly encouraged to apply
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in facilities management required
  • Obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Possess or be able to obtain Certified Pool Operators registration within six months of hire
  • Possess or be able to obtain PA class 24 Pesticide Certification within one year of hire
  • Possess or be able to obtain Class 1 Amusement Ride Inspector certification within one year of hire
  • Ability to alter work schedule to accommodate job demands and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to manage basic plumbing, electrical and plumbing issues
  • Basic computer skills required
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $50,400.00 - $59,000.00
