Right now, we’re preparing to launch the Early Childhood Innovation Center that will improve the quality of early childhood programs in Missouri. We are actively seeking candidates for:

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • A Project Coordinator leadership role will organize a statewide program and provide training and coaching for early childhood program administrators and family childcare owners. In this role, you will:
    • Lead and manage project team operations
    • Supervise team leaders
    • Coordinate the process and outcomes evaluation
    • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • An Early Childhood Workforce Development Project Coordinator will manage an internal project team, support a project team of external stakeholders, support the project director and coordinate external meetings, activities, evaluations and reporting. In this role, you will:
    • Create project goals, policies, procedures and implementation strategies
    • Manage project and coordinate activities
    • Supervise, mentor and guide staff
    • Recruit, interview and make hiring recommendations

Its functions include interdisciplinary training, applied research, community program development and information dissemination.

Skills/Experience: 

For the Project Coordinator leadership role, you will need the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least five years of experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood or business management best practices
  • Experience managing large projects and budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a leadership team to complete tasks, meet goals and manage projects

For the Early Childhood Workforce Development Project Coordinator role, you'll need the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood best practices
  • Proficiency with technology including Office 365, video conferencing, and file storage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a leadership team to complete tasks, meet goals, and
    manage projects
Compensation/Benefits: 

$63,860-$80,000
