350.org is looking for a Training Coordinator to create, design, coordinate, and deliver trainings and workshops for new and existing 350.org staff to equip them to fulfill 350.org’s mission.
Areas of Responsibility:
This role requires a skilled trainer, facilitator, and event coordinator excited to support 350.org staff. You would work with a Bootcamp project team to develop, design, and deliver 350’s first ever in-person staff onboarding and training programme in 2019 and beyond, as well as contribute to other 350 Trainings Team work.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate and manage the training events, particularly bootcamp events (in-person onboarding and training programme for 350 staff)
- Work alongside the whole 350 Trainings Team and Bootcamp project team to develop curriculum, organise, and facilitate staff bootcamps
- Contribute to other Trainings Team roles: coaching and supporting trainings across our teams and network; develop and find resources to add to 350 Trainings website, and lead webinars for skill-building across the organization.
Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years experience of providing coaching, training, and facilitation
- Proven study and background in training and facilitation pedagogy
- Experience in international event coordination and organising
- Experience of working within Global South contexts; an understanding of the opportunities and challenges that brings.
- Experience of coordinating international events
- Problem solver with a positive attitude
- Highly organised and able to develop systems to track work flows
- Culturally intelligent - truly interested in learning about different regions and able to articulate issues in a manner that bring people together to make progress
- Able to travel internationally
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience as an organiser / campaigner
