The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Salesforce Developer supports the technical development and implementation of WWP applications and functionality integrated with the Salesforce.com platform to facilitate the tracking of accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, case, campaigns, and other custom objects.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborate with WWP administrators to ensure successful Salesforce releases of updates and timing of code deployment.
- Plan and prepare data files and data transformation, and deploy actual files.
- Review and install AppExchange products.
- Develop custom pages using Visualforce.
- Develop Apex triggers and classes.
- Perform code review and test class creation.
- Perform configuration changes and code changes.
- Manage and respond to support tickets.
- Document all components in the release. Document the code for each release.
- Identify issues and present effective solutions to the WWP business partners.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with team and administrators.
- Maintain and develop on Communities portal.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related relevant field. Equivalent combination of applicable education, training, certification, or experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong developer experience on Salesforce.com and customer relationship management CRM) platforms.
- Demonstrated working understanding of Salesforce Developer Community Customer Relationship (SFCD) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application (Sales and Service Cloud) capabilities and constraints.
- Demonstrated working understanding of Force.com development best practices.
- Adept at developing and designing within Salesforce.com and manage fields and relationships, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, email, and custom buttons and links.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively clean and manipulate data.
- Detail-oriented. Strong documentation skills.
- Strong training skills.
- Strong technical foundation including demonstrated understanding of structured program, e.g. APEX, Force.com, and of relational database concepts and structures. Strong working understanding of SQL and of structured system analysis and design methods.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, identify and define problems, and recommend and implement effective resolutions.
- Effective collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and resolve problems. Ability to influence others to gain consensus on the most effective solution.
