The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Metrics Specialist will work closely with other teammates in supporting organizational priorities related to impact and outcome measurement (i.e., key performance indicators [KPIs]) for WWP programs and business units.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborate with the metrics team and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data
- Assist with aligning KPIs and WWP’s Strategic Plan, as well as providing recommendations for performance measures in alignment with the Strategic Plan
- Perform data visualizations in Salesforce, Qualtrics, and Excel to communicate programmatic and organizational impact
- Design, develop and administer surveys to assess the impact and effectiveness of services provided
- Communicate actionable insights to improve and optimize services and operations
- Follow best practices in data collection, storage, analysis and governance
- Prioritize projects and assignments to meet organizational deadlines and priorities
- Create and analyze data reports to access and manipulate data to detect trends and correlations
- Other duties as assigned
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field required; equivalent education, skills, and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree

- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills
- Detail oriented and adaptable
- Ability to explain complex information in a simple to understand way (written and verbal)
- Ability to interact with stakeholders and obtain pertinent information through asking critical questions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Outlook; internet navigation/research
- Highly motivated, passionate, collaborative, and creative team player
- Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task, work independently and work well under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to build rapport with teammates and partners
- Excellent oral and written communication, as well as proofreading and editing skills

Education & Experience Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in business analytics, research, finance, or marketing preferred
- Minimum one (1) year Salesforce (or other CRM) experience preferred
- Minimum one (1) year online survey platform experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency using Excel for data analysis and reporting
