Wounded Warrior Project’s (WWP) Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting WWP programs and operations in areas such as completion of daily calendar management and scheduling, correspondence, filing, telephones, travel logistics, meetings & events and other special events and duties as needed.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Compile and maintain records of business transactions
  • Perform routine tasks such as opening mail, answering correspondence, and preparing outgoing mail, and other clerical duties
  • Collaborate with teams to update project status scorecards and reports
  • Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Organize meetings and document / publish meeting minutes as needed
  • Perform basic office duties such as answering the telephone, direct calls, emails, and fax
  • Participate in tasks requiring added assistance and support the WWP  team of assistants when needed
  • Organize, file, and maintain important documents or records
  • Prepare expense reimbursements in a timely manner
  • Assist with travel arrangements as needed
  • Assist in managing invoices and budget related documentation
  • Maintain organization of the executive offices
  • Other duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Organized, diligent, and able to troubleshoot, problem-solve and prioritize
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in administrative and/or staff support position required
  • Nonprofit experience preferred
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs is required
  • Salesforce experience is preferred
