The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading the portion of the Accounting team dedicated to accounts payable and expense reporting. The Accounts Payable Manager must maintain a strong customer service culture while addressing an ever increasing transaction volume with a combination of staffing and improvement to processes.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage and lead accounts payable team
- Maintain accounting procedures and ensure they are being followed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of employees and vendors
- Train and develop staff
- Work with all teammates on vendor related matters
- Foster a culture of customer service
- Look for opportunities to increase processing efficiency and reduce costs, while enhancing customer service
- Other related duties, as assigned
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software preferred
Education & Experience Requirements
- Eight (8) years of relevant Accounts Payable experience required
- Three (3) years prior staff management experience required
