Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Associate Executive Director is responsible for the ongoing center operations of program development and management and membership development. The supervision of the Wellness Director, Aquatics Director and Senior Program Director.
Areas of Responsibility:
- The supervision of the Wellness Director, Aquatics Director and Senior Program Director.
- The Associate Executive Director will be responsible for all facets of marketing all YMCA programs and to provide staff leadership to achieve the YMCA mission and to position the center as a vital and integral asset that builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
Educational Background:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of professional experience, with recognition as a YMCA Organizational Leader certification preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- The ability to develop and maintain quality programs is essential.
- Strong communication skills and experience in a high volume, fast paced leadership role is necessary.
- Because of the program diversity, strong organizational and supervisory skills are required.
- Must possess knowledge in the areas of fiscal management, program planning, member services and sales, personnel management, training and evaluation, public relations and fundraising.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $53,058.36 - $79,588.56
