Under the direction of the Center Executive, and under the guidance of the Center Program Committee, the Aquatics Director will be responsible for all facets of the aquatic department as well as the Teen Programs.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The position will include the development and administration of the department; program development and promotion, implementation and evaluation, staff scheduling and supervision, and financial operation in accordance with Center and Association goals, objectives and policies.

Educational Background: 
A high degree of organizational and supervisory skills are required. 
Skills/Experience: 
  • This position requires a degree in a related field or its equivalent in experience, and current certifications in aquatics. 
  • Additional skills in program development and implementation, pool operation, experience with teens, fiscal control and written communications are necessary. 
  • Must be a team player with strong human relations skills able to interpret program objectives to members and participants, and to provide communications within and between communities and organizations.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $37,353.25 - $46,691.56
