Experienced professional needed to manage $3.1 million operation.  Responsibilities include board and community development, membership sales and retention, fundraising, program development, staff leadership and facility management.  Great facility, 70,000 sq. ft. w/2 pools, 2 gyms, fitness center and a 10,000 sq. ft. Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Demonstrated ability to produce positive results in areas of financial  development, board & volunteer development, program administration,  membership development, staff supervision, and fiscal management.
  • Must have ability to develop strong, positive relationships with branch  volunteers, business and civic leaders, and give dynamic leadership to the board,  staff and community.
  • Provide leadership for the direction, administration, and quality of all  membership practices and program development.
  • Accountable for development, operations, and financial performance of the  branch.
  • Give leadership and assistance to the recruitment, hiring, supervision, evaluation  and recognition of operational staff and volunteers and delegate that  responsibility when deemed appropriate.
  • Gives leadership to the Branch Board and assist with board and volunteer  development.
  • Responsible for the operational growth of the branch through program  expansion, member recruitment and retention, new site development,  collaborations and marketing.
  • Responsible for the branch’s success to the annual campaign, recruiting and  motivating volunteers and staff.
  • Fostering signature and evidence based programs as well as inclusion and  innovation.
  • Actively participate in local and national professional development opportunities  for continued development.
  • Serves as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Passionate commitment to the YMCA mission, member involvement and the  YMCA character values.
  • Assure the safety, maintenance and cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
  • Any other duties provided by supervisor.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or commensurate experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management and supervision with YMCA.
  • Experience with Annual Campaign and proven track record with of growing  relationships with donors.
  • Effective staff management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to  recruit top community leaders.
  • Proven success in budget development and management
  • Highly developed organization skills and the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and management skills
  • High professionalism, enthusiasm, and drive
  • Full time exempt position, minimum 45 hours with weekend, evening, early  morning, and holidays
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and  economic segments of the community. (volunteers, employees and members)
Compensation/Benefits: 

$62,000.00 - $70,000.00
